Internet Marketing - the Answer for your Business

Author: Lee Smith

Advertising and marketing should be a top priority for any business and with the age of the internet comes the best ever way of marketing and attracting new clients, customers and internet traffic, based on targeted online marketing. Using an internet marketing agency or SEO consultants for your campaign is both cost-effective and fully-measurable via online statistics software so you can track every aspect of your marketing campaign

Pay per click (PPC) is a popular method of advertising for mostly larger businesses and involves bidding on keywords to attract users to your web site. These "sponsored links" are then displayed at the top positions of search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.

PPC can and does work for many businesses, but unless you have a dedicated, sustainable budget, this is probably not the most cost-effective of routes. Click fraud has been a buzz word for a while now and it needs to be taken seriously before starting any campaign as this could prove costly to your business.

The preferred option of internet marketing for most businesses and for the majority of search engine users, is the "organic" or natural listings which are essentially free, but rely on the algorithms of the search engines to determine which pages and sites appear at the top of the list.

It is not rocket science to get a top ten search engine ranking, but if your business is in a competitive industry, it can be costly and you may have to wait up to three months before results are seen.

To get new business with a top ten ranking on Google, Yahoo and MSN you will need to have an SEO consultancy that takes into account Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and a linking campaign to put a trust factor into your web site.

Once you get a top ten search engine ranking through an internet marketing agency or SEO constultancy, you will start to receive enquiries, phone calls and sales only if your site has undergone a usability and an accessibility test, without this all your hard work and investment may be for nothing. You could have a top ten search engine ranking, but if you have a poor website that does not make it easy for visitors to take the action you want them to, you have made a mistake and you will have to edit your website or get your SEO consultants or your internet marketing agency to do it for you.

With a well planned internet marketing strategy, your website will benefit immensely and your web traffic will dramatically increase as a result.

Search engine optimisation is not a mystery, more of a strategic implementation of good search engine policies and practices to ensure your online business fulfils it's potential.

Real Estate Internet Marketing – Where Should You Start?

Author: David Friedman

Internet Marketing has undeniably swept the real estate industry and quickly. In hindsight agents should have invested in real estate internet marketing in 1995 when only 2% of home buyers used the internet in their home search and it was easy to get high ranking in search engines. Internet users and advertiser competition has grown exponentially since then. National Association of Realtors® statistics show 88% of people who were able to sell their homes in 2007 had internet marketing. As a buying agent, or a selling agent it is clear that internet marketing is obligatory with such a large number of people looking online. So we know it is a necessary part of Real Estate Business, but where should you start? Real Estate Search Engine marketing and Search Engine Optimization are two internet marketing strategies that have their unique benefits and weaknesses Real Estate SEM , or search engine marketing, is a broad term that covers multiple methods of online marketing. Real Estate SEM can include paid internet advertising (pay per click), banner ads, blog postings, paid listings, and natural (or organic) search engine optimization. Benefits of using SEM as your Real Estate Internet Marketing strategy are immediate results, control of your visitors’ landing pages, and no minimum entry cost. The downsides are paid internet marketing is more expensive in the long run, the results are perishable, and internet users are cautious of paid ads. Real Estate SEO , or search engine optimization, is a more specific term for the process of driving website ranking up in search engine’s natural (or organic) results. This form of real estate marketing yields no immediate results and is a more costly approach. The negatives can be out weighed by being cheaper in the long run, non perishable results, long term benefits, and better long term ROI. When defining your real estate internet marketing strategy the greatest benefits can be generated from a combination of SEM and SEO. They both have their strengths and weaknesses which when balanced can bring in the optimum amount of traffic, leads, and sales.

Are You Using Internet Marketing Most Powerful Salesman?

Author: Alex Landin

RSS is a high-profile, very effective way to distribute content on the web. It is a technology that has seamlessly incorporated itself into the zeitgeist.

It is very important to learn how to use RSS feeds well if you want to succeed at Internet marketing. Sites that use RSS correctly are more likely to enjoy a huge amount of traffic and enjoy advantages over their competitors.

However, if you really want to use RSS successfully, you need to make sure that you have designed content that is ready for RSS so that when you distribute it, you can make an impact. In fact, when you are designing content, you need to keep RSS in mind so that you can design content that will work well for RSS.

Hook, Line, and Sinker

You must spend meticulous amounts of time and energy to ensure that you are writing useful, informative articles. This is crucial to your Internet marketing strategies. Remember, the title of your article is extremely important, because if it is provocative and fascinating, then people are more likely to read the article. But if it is boring or listless, then no one will read the article. This is a well known fact in Internet marketing. Everyone knows this rule, which means you have to work even harder to create a title that will draw people's attention.

A good rule of thumb is to create a whole bunch of different titles and then edit them later, or give them to a friend to edit. If you don't have a good title or headline, then no one will read your article. Remember, Internet marketing with articles is dependent upon good titles.

Don't Make It Too Easy

It is important not to give away everything in the headline. Your headline should be something that draws the reader in, instead of giving them all the info about your Internet marketing plan. It should be provocative and mysterious so that the reader wants to know more about what is behind the headline. No one will read the article if they think that they can get all the information from the headline.

Fans Support Winning Teams

If you've got flashy content that fascinates people and makes them want to come back for more, then your RSS feed will completely dominate the Web. As long as you pay attention to all the details, you can earn repeat customers with this Internet marketing tool.

RSS can be used to provide news regarding new content or products on your site, but it's also a way you can garner valuable email contact information. When people subscribe to an RSS feed, you can also create an opt-in email list from their RSS subscription. This is a great way to directly communicate with your customers. You can keep them up to date on affiliate programs and ads.

But you need to design provocative content for this to work.

Internet Marketing Promotion Advertising - Imagination

Internet Marketing Promotion Advertising - Imagination

Author: Melissa Wayan

Given my present understanding of my ubiquitous lack of understanding of the world in general, I can't help but smile just a bit when I think about my beliefs when I was around 15 years old. I was in 10th grade at the time and good god did I ever have it all figured out. On a pretty consistent basis I would use words like "ignorance, short sighted and unaware" when talking to my mother; and I guess probably most other people that had the misfortune of chatting with me. As you can probably guess, it turned out that I really didn't know everything. Well, here I am a full-grown adult and, fortunately, I am much, much wiser; I currently know that I don't know anything. And, if I ever start to forget that, I am thankfully reminded on a consistent basis how little I really know.

This just happened about 10 minutes ago, in fact. I thought that I had the internet marketing and advertising thing pegged. I was thinking about all those annoying pop ups and all the other advertising that frustrates me; on the up side this irritating new field of advertising has given rise to an unprecedented number of new jobs, for the people that are able to create all the software that shields the rest of us from the internet advertising. So, anyways I had my mind made up that people could be divided up into two camps—the good and the bad. But, much like the Haitian Revolution, things have much more complexity than just black and white (haha, I just threw that in there to pretend like I did know something...I had to read a book for school).

Let's get back to the topic at hand. I sort of saw the internet marketers as a group that found their financial success wherever it happened to be and without consideration as to what was necessary in order to achieve it. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they're killing puppies or anything. But, I do think that there's a certain pride that can come from contributing something positive to the greater community and those that choose to directly and consciously work in means that are in direct conflict with that aren't on the good side.

But, I just was informed about alittle thing that's throwing a wrench in my good vs. evil dissection of the world. It's the business that does networking for the internet advertisers and marketers. Now, it seems like the companies that are behind all the banner ads and the like are on the short end of the stick from these internet advertisers for the internet advertisers, the victim of uncouth internet practices. This changes everything for me. I'm not simply talking about internet advertising, but the mulit-layered complexities that is a spider web of friends and foes and who is crossing who and back stabbing who, while helping who else. Hmm, I have a lot to think about, but for sure I understand that I definitely don't know anything.

How To Build Your Own Internet Marketing Company

How To Build Your Own Internet Marketing Company

Author: Moe Tamani

The world of the Internet seems to be expanding by leaps and bounds lately - so much so that you might be thinking about putting up your own Internet Marketing Company so you can compete in this field. But before you start shelling out your hard-earned money to put up that Internet Marketing Company you have been dreaming about, it helps to find out what the ground rules are first.

First, you really cannot get around the fact that you need pretty extensive awareness, knowledge, and maybe experience in the Information Technology aspect side for your Internet Marketing Company. Why? Simply because IT will dictate the capabilities of your Internet Marketing Company to a significant extent. If you yourself are not an IT person but is passionate about building a powerful Internet Marketing Company, then perhaps it's time for you to scout around for some top brains in IT to hire as consultants and staff for your Internet Marketing Company.

The Real Business of an Internet Marketing Company

In the world of advertisement, conventional advertising and promotion approaches are no longer the typical newspaper and TV or radio formats. Promotions of goods and services are now more appealing online especially that now that many have access to the web 24/7. Understanding the benefits and challenges of establishing an influential Internet Marketing Company will help you prosper in this online business. So what do you have to do primarily?

1. Hire a Smart IT firm

Artistic and business focused IT professionals can be your best assets during the establishment of your Internet Marketing Company. The reason is in this age of advanced and well-designed websites, your Internet Marketing Company needs to be aggressive in terms of advertising and promotion. Understand that competition is getting tougher, Internet marketing companies and firm need to be more than just the typical ads and design promotion.

Yourself you will have to choose the best Internet Marketing company or provider, then create a professional assessment. Get yourself involved during the creation of the firm. Therefore, when dealing with your Internet Marketing Company provider, consider just a user-friendly layout and navigation. Plus, you'll get an attractive layout with the appropriate use of colors. You should use those schemes intelligently and instinctively; and be able to manipulate content like images and video so that the end product looks good enough to please the client and bring in visitors in droves.

2. Identify a reliable content writer

You have to have people who know how to write content in your Internet Marketing Company. That means getting people who are skilled in language skills, who know how to work with the language and how to pick topics so that they can create unique and original information for your future clients, and who know when to stop writing about one topic category and switch to others when the client needs these.

If you can get people for your Internet Marketing Company who are strong in both IT and writing, that would be a bonus. Also, an Internet Marketing Company needs people who are skilled in other disciplines. For instance, every business needs an accountant to manage the finances of the Internet Marketing Company. If you yourself know how to do simple accounting, that's a start but there will come a time in the growth of your Internet Marketing Company when you need someone who is really trained in this discipline. Hiring an accountant is a good business decision so you can concentrate on other competencies of your Internet Marketing Company. You may need MIS personnel in addition to your regular Internet Marketing Company techies so that your techies don't wind up using their precious time managing your IT systems in-house and can concentrate on serving your clients instead.

3. Marketing resource person

Yes, you have your techies and you have your writers, but Marketing is something that is a specialty in itself. If your Internet Marketing Company team of techies and writers seems to be able to cope, you might want to give them opportunities for continuous learning by sending them to marketing seminars. It may cost you a pretty penny, so try sending one representative at a time who will then educate the rest of the staff of your Internet Marketing Company when he returns with a wealth of knowledge.

An Internet Marketing Company has to be competitive so you really need to spend a lot of time, energy and resources trying to find clients who will hire your services. The field is dominated already by quite a lot of players so you have your work hard for you to at least join the growing bandwagon. This is why your Internet Marketing Company has to function like a close-knit fraternity or sorority of like-minded people who work in conjunction with one another. People are people though so expect some clashes to happen at time, but always make sure you develop a strong Internet Marketing Company culture so that your staff is able to iron out any differences before they escalate into bigger problems.

Easy Internet Marketing Strategy Tips for your Internet Marketing Company

Author: Hall Andrew

Getting your Internet marketing company running and earning may seem a colossal task to accomplish, but careful planning and some simple Internet marketing strategy tricks and tips, things should be a whole lot easier. Here are some of those tactics you should keep in mind, and you’re well on your way to earning with your Internet marketing company.

Content Is Basic

This is probably one of the most important of the many Internet marketing strategy tips. Your website’s content says a lot about your web intent marketing company; hence, you should put up the best that you can with it. It’s not enough that you have all the keywords in it. When it doesn’t sound interesting, it’s as good as it wasn’t there at all. Make sure to have your content proofread and edited for any spelling, grammar, and contextual errors. When stating facts, make sure that they have been well researched and are accurate. Of course, don’t forget to choose an interesting topic to talk about. Find something that will be appealing to your targeted audience.

Updating Your Content

In the Internet marketing world, updating does not mean every twenty-four hours. For your Internet marketing company to succeed, updating your content and your site in general means doing so every hour. A boring content will obviously be difficult to update every now and then. Professionals in the Internet marketing strategy area advice online business owners to update their content every hour if possible because this is what search engines in general are hungry for. If you get their liking, then you will most probably be kept at the top of their listings—a much-needed advantage needed by your Internet marketing company. Don’t forget to avoid duplicating content if you can’t afford getting penalized for doing so.

Short and Simple

To maximize the opportunity you are dealt with the people’s very short attention span, experts in the field of Internet marketing strategy suggests that keeping your content simple and short is important. People will remember your site together with its products and services when your content is short enough for people to digest quickly. This is because when surfing, they only try to scan web pages and not read through the entire thing. Try to use headlines that will win their attention right away and bullet points for important data you would really want them to read.

Also, avoid using fancy-looking features in your web pages. Although people will find it interesting to see great-looking sites, multi-colored web pages may seem not to serious for them to go over. Colored fonts and other widgets may also seem annoying for some visitors. Don’t forget that putting up a lot of applications in your web site will slow down the uploading time, making most visitors leave instead of wait for them to finish.

Keywords, Keywords, Keywords

Another important Internet marketing strategy that your Internet marketing company should know is the use of the right keywords at the right places and at the right time. Knowing what keywords web users are most likely to use is not enough. For your Internet marketing company to stand out among its competitors, you need to know how exactly to utilize these keywords and make them work for your site. It also pays to learn the many styles in which to use these keywords and phrases so they can enhance search results. Optimizing every single page in your site and not just the home page is equally vital.

Conclusion

These are just some of the tips in Internet marketing strategy that can help you build a good foundation for your Internet marketing company. With a little creativity and being resourceful enough, your Internet marketing company should be able to reap the fruits of success soon.

Optimum7 Offers Customized Internet Marketing Solutions

Author: Christopher Carter

Optimum7, based in Morristown New Jersey with offices in Miami Florida, offers highly customized internet marketing services for small to mid-sized businesses (SME’s). The company offers online visibility programs to get their clients found on the Internet Search Engines such as Google or Yahoo.

Duran Inci, Director of Marketing, explains “Every business is different and it is with that understanding that we work with our clients to understand their business as unique with its own set of problems and opportunities.” Inci has about 10 years of online marketing experience and has been involved in dozens of successful online campaigns. “We don’t sell and don’t want to sell a pre-packaged set of services because they simply don’t work all too often” Inci adds.

Adelard Gasana, Chief Technology Officer, says “We offer real advantages in technology and implementation that are behind the results we are able to achieve for our clients … this will become more evident in the future as we continue to develop key advantages in the marketplace.”

The company also stresses often that their services are not for everyone, pointing out that Search Engine Optimization, a key piece of any online marketing strategy, takes significant time and money and is also ongoing ever into the future. The company CEO, Arthur Cooper, states “the competitive environment for business and product-related keywords is very intense and high placement is not achieved easily or trivially. Anyone trying to tell you otherwise is either unaware or just trying to sell you something.” He further explains that Optimum7 is really interested in working with companies that “get it” explaining that there are few if any “quick fixes” to an online marketing issue. It seems evident that Optimum7 wants their clients to understand the long term value and commitment involved before they even get started.

A prime example of what Cooper and Inci are talking about can be seen in an investigation of how they treat paid search which is called Adwords in the Google environment. Paid Search, often called PPC or Pay Per Click is online advertising that appears by successful bidders for a particular keyword phrase that searchers might be “Googling.” When the searcher clicks on the ad, Google receives a fee reflecting the successful bid. The searcher is then sent to the website itself or a specific landing page associated both with the website and the original Google Ad. The searcher then can either request information, fill in a form or actually buy the product if the website has an e-commerce component. “Anyone can set up their own PPC program on Google” says Cooper. He adds “however, simply bidding on keywords, writing an ad will not likely work if the program is not managed. Almost all of our clients come to us after the frustration of trying to do it themselves or having a PPC company do it for them. It all comes down to results. If the results are not there and you don’t know why, it’s easy to see why people get frustrated.”

Optimum7 takes this several steps further by installing analytical software and monitoring and measuring the daily results and onsite behavior of online visitors. Inci explains “ we must know what the click-through rate (CTR) is so we know the effectiveness of the ad people see on the search engine to begin with. If there are not enough clicks, we have to improve the ad at least, if not also further investigate the competition and additional keywords and adgroups. In addition, we must measure conversions which are simply the number of people who actually did what the client wants the visitor to do on the site … whether it’s filling in a form or buying a product or picking up the phone to call. All of this can be measured, and must be, so that we can act, yes manage, the program for optimum results. If the conversion rate is low, we investigate further to measure the onsite behavior … are there sticking points, pages that seem to confuse, pages upon which visitors exit the site? What works, what doesn’t work and make adjustments based on simple facts, not pre-determined solutions that may not address the specific issue at hand.”

Optimum7 makes some important distinctions about their services and their approach that separate them from other internet marketing companies. “Instead of offering tactics as services”, says Gasana, “we offer a single premium and custom strategy so that we look at the entire picture that our client is faced with. Some services offer something called “link-building” or press release services as single stand-alone services. We maintain that our clients are not likely to know what a link-building service is or whether or not they need one or if a link-building strategy is the correct strategy or even a good opening step. We feel that selling these singularly-focused services do not serve the client well and they do not directly address the main problem … poor sales and profitability from their online web strategy. This is the key behind our consultative approach. Here we may make no assumptions. We listen to our clients, ask them questions, and analyze the website and related marketing methods. We analyze the competition, learn the products and services, do extensive keyword research and much more to come up with a strategy that will use any or all of the tools and expertise at our disposal. It’s all about the client … not about us.”

“We have done work with many industries, says Cooper, … recently we have worked with SME’s in industries as diverse as Office Furniture, Corporate Promotions, Custom Chocolate, Legal, Industrial Scales, Interior Design, Monuments, Replacement Windows and Doors, commercial wiring and connectivity, and Stone and Marble Fabricators. While we are experts in none of these industries, our ability to listen and work closely with our clients while implementing our consultative process makes us very valuable to our clients. They can continue to do the business of their business while we develop and execute a well coordinated and results-oriented internet marketing plan.”

Cooper sees a bright future for Optimum7 and the industry as a whole. “Google is getting better every day, social networks and networking are growing in importance, affiliate programs are becoming a more available means of adding revenue for our clients where appropriate, the rise of social bookmarking like de.licio.us and online publishing all are inter-related elements that play right into our strong suit of custom internet marketing solutions. No one thing will do it. It’s really about understanding the difference between tactics and strategies. Optimum7 is about strategies.”

Easy Steps to Make Money Through Internet Marketing!

Author: Van

The internet is now the way for doing business and companies see significant returns by doing business online. Just as marketing strategies play an important role in the traditional way of doing business, they are equally required when the Internet is used to do business.

Internet Marketing is all about making the best use of the power of the internet to reach across to a wide audience, located across the globe. The many aspects to internet marketing include affiliate marketing, pay per click advertising, e-mail marketing, banner ads, interactive advertising, search engine marketing, article marketing, and blogging.

Through these hosts of techniques, companies can gain attention of people who surf for information about their products or services. In other words, they can reach out to a targeted audience and get a positive response from such as audience, since the people they target are the ones actually seeking their services.

Internet marketing" has a lot to offer to companies doing business over the internet and is now seen as a vital tool for business promotion. It offers a host of benefits such as:

• Customers can buy the product or service they want, at their convenient time. All they have to do is log onto the Internet, search for the relevant site, learn about products and make their online purchase.

• Internet marketing saves time and money. All the time and money resources that would have otherwise been put into ad campaigns in the T.V or through the newspapers can be put into other important business requirements, because internet marketing is not so expensive or time-consuming.

• Any company operating at a local level can move onto an international platform using the internet as a tool. Using the internet they can spread information about their products or services to national and international markets.

• The results of internet marketing are easier to track than traditional media. So, the effects of strategies used are seen immediately and this information can be used to shape business ideas.

Internet marketing is gaining popularity because of the advantages it offers to businesses trying to reach out to customers using the internet. If we must understand the benefits offered by internet marketing, we need to see how it actually works in an example.

As an example, let’s see how internet marketing can be applied to a website to promote it across the internet. If a company wishes to popularize its products and services across the internet, it requires a good website. This means the site must look good and present information in a clear and concise manner. It should have tools by which user can easily navigate the site and it should have security features in place for visitors to make purchases safely.

Above all these measures the website must be search engine friendly for it to turn up in top listing during searches. This includes placing the right keywords in the contents and using link popularity services to promote the site in search engines. It is all these strategies put together that will make the site popular over the internet.

The objective of Internet marketing is to increase traffic to your website, thereby promoting sales. Affiliate programs, pay-per-click, behavioral targeting, latent semantic indexing, targeting at the right audience, are all steps which form part of the internet marketing strategies that promote this objective. If a company adopts just the right mix of internet marketing strategies, their popularity in the internet rises and they see a constant stream of visitors. Much of these visitors turn into qualified leads and sales, which helps them in turn to achieve business objectives.

However, there are some issues of concern in the area of internet marketing. One main limitations is that technologies which process payment (though they seem very reliable) have yet to fully advance and emerge and fool-proof systems. Shopping over the internet nothing like real shopping, where you can actually feel the goods you want to buy before you buy them and as a result no matter what strategies you use, the internet is really not the place to sell certain goods which really need touch and feel before purchase. If a company were to design a large and complicated website, a user with a slow internet connection can’t have the shopping experience the site can actually give them and this is a turn-off for the visitor.

Above all these concerns and in spite of the popularity of television and other media, internet marketing is being widely used to sell products and services, because the internet is playing a vital role in spreading information to people across the globe. It is the new way to reach out to a wider audience and in course of time will be as much used as television, radio and other forms of advertisement by businesses to promote themselves to potential customers across the globe.

5 Business Models Of Internet Marketing

Author: Tan Hai Liang

Due to advancement of telecommunications, access to Internet to the masses is more readily available. With better accessibility to the internet, making money online is also much easier.

Research has shown that in recent time, more and more people are turning to the Internet to buy things. This is mainly because shopping online enables the buyers to get lower prices, more product or services variety, easier to compare products or services. However, the main reason why people buy online is the convenience of shopping anytime of the day or night and from any part of the world. Purchasers are not restricted to physically going to the retail outlet or service outlet at the opening hours. The increasing numbers of Internet shoppers are driving Internet Marketers to find more convenient methods of delivery.

Growing trend of online shoppers means Internet Marketing is becoming a main stream profession.

You can profit from the internet by following various business models. You can be involve in all of them or just specialize in one model. The business model that you adopt depends on your own interests, personal marketing style and working habits.

The 5 business models of Internet marketing are:-

1.Brick and Mortar Online Store - These are online shops set up by existing retail outlets, companies as well as multinational corporations. The online version of the outlet is managed along with the physical store. More often than not, both online and brick and mortar shops have similar functions which markets the products to buyers both online and offline.

2.Online-based Services - These are similar to brick and mortar online store but applies to service providers instead retail outlets. Examples are online banking, travel agency, dating agency and online education too. Certain personal development programs are delivered online too. Such course materials or seminars are disseminated through webinars.

3.Internet-based products by Internet Experts - These are products or services that are developed by successful Internet Marketers. These products in general are related to Internet Marketing. Example is educating newbies on how to start their own home based internet business. Usually these experts had started out from their home too, so they would know the difficulties faced by newbies and how to solve their problems.

4.Online promotion and advertising - These are pay-per-click advertising such as Google AdSense. Google AdSense pays you advertising fee on each visitors' click on their advertisements placed in your website.

5.Affiliate marketing - These are affiliate programs which you join for free. In the program, you market the affiliate's products or services and earn commission on each successful sale that is referred by you. A good affiliate program will supply you with various marketing tools to enable you to start marketing the product or services almost immediately. All you have to do is use the marketing tools provided or if you wish, your own techniques to drive traffic to the affiliate's sales page. To identify the sale is referred by you, a unique link or hoplink is assigned only to you. Any sales through that unique link or hoplink will be credited to you. Each program has its own terms and conditions and commission can range between 2% to 60%.

Among all the business models, Affiliate Marketing remains the most sort after means of starting a home based business. However, that being said, many successful Internet Marketers just specialize in Affiliate Marketing and make millions of Dollars selling their affiliate's products.

So, which model is suitable for you?

How to Build your Own Internet Marketing Company

Author: Moe Tamani

The world of the Internet seems to be expanding by leaps and bounds lately – so much so that you might be thinking about putting up your own Internet Marketing Company so you can compete in this field. But before you start shelling out your hard-earned money to put up that Internet Marketing Company you have been dreaming about, it helps to

find out what the ground rules are first.

First, you really cannot get around the fact that you need pretty extensive awareness, knowledge, and maybe experience in the Information Technology aspect side for your Internet Marketing Company. Why? Simply because IT will dictate the capabilities of your Internet Marketing Company to a significant extent. If you yourself are not an IT person but is passionate about building a powerful Internet Marketing Company, then perhaps it’s time for you to scout around for some top brains in IT to hire as consultants and staff for your Internet Marketing Company.

Plus, you’ll get an attractive layout with the appropriate use of colors.

Internet Marketing, New Vs Old.

Author: SEO Resources and Articles by Jack

After a great deal of researching I finally joined what I considered to be an exploding Network Marketing company. Just shy of the 30 day mark I got a nasty e-mail from my sponsor claiming he was concerned because I haven’t been following the “tools for success” guild lines that which are laid out by most network marketing Companies. You know…

•Make a list of your warm market

•Employ the “3 foot rule”

•Invite your list to listen to conference calls

•Hold Private Business Receptions

•Start 3-way calling

•Always be Selling (A.B.C)

Well my response was to inform him that I got my own “tools for success”. He was not pleased and insisted that I explain what myself.

I should begin by saying that sometimes it takes doing something different if you want different results… So here goes.

These are my “Tools for Success”

•Create a Domain Name

•Research Key Words

•Create a Capture Page

•Create a Blog

•Submit Articles & Press Releases

•Contact Targeted Responses

Here’s the thing… Most up-line sponsors either forgot or don’t realize that “Marketing” is the biggest part of Network Marketing . Simply put, in today’s world there’s no better way to reach the masses than by utilizing the Internet to Market your opportunity.

Think about it…

Knocking on 1,000,000 doors could take you a life time to complete, however good copy from a sales letter or blog can literally have millions of prospects contacting you basically at the click of a button. I explained to my sponsor that this type of comparison is the reality of Marketing on the Internet vs. Marketing to your warm market.

Food for thought:

When you talk about success you have to decide how much time and effort you’re willing to invest to get the end result. Blogs, Articles,Press Releases, and Search Engine Optimization are basically unknown avenues amongst the "old school" marketer's. Depending on what your goals are these techniques can have astonishing results.

The moral here is simple...

Find a opportunity and sponsor that has some basic knowledge of Internet Marketing. Do your research, stick to your guns and don’t fall into the rut…

Internet Marketing - One Bite At A Time

Internet Marketing - One Bite At A Time

Author: Scott Lindsay

Internet marketing provides the ability to expand the possibilities of your website while giving a nod to your own dogged determination and mental quickness.

Internet marketing is not simply a one-size-fits-all piece of clothing designed to allow you to simply apply one standard where you discover yourself on the same footing as every other online business.

The financial empire of Smith Barney used to run an advertisement which read, "We make money the old fashion way - we earn it."

This is why there is no one-size fits-all approach to marketing. There are always new marketing tools to be discovered and always new skills to learn. Beyond discovery and learning is the application part of the process. This is where you take all you know and then work through every issue that comes up in order to implement the idea and bend it and shape it to become a tool that you need.

I would guess this is why Search Engine Optimization (SEO) firms are so widely used. Business owners either don't have the time or are fine with not knowing how to be efficient online marketers.

This is not to say they are wrong in using SEO firms, but you should consider this article a bit of encouragement - you can do it. You can learn how to market your website using dozens of tools and strategies.

Certainly there are helpful ebooks that assist you in gaining the knowledge you might need to understand the functionality of various Internet tools, but if you don't mind online research you can find virtually all the information you need about marketing your ebusiness.

It can come as a surprise to many online business owners that they can learn the skills and that those skills can be layered with other Internet marketing tools to allow an even greater punch in their marketing efforts.

We've all heard the old question, "How do you eat an elephant?"

The answer is, "One bite at a time."

This is a truism of Internet marketing. By itself the 'beast' of marketing seems far too big and complicated. The notion that one might have to learn multiple skill sets to take advantage of this 'beast' seems oppressive. Frustration can set in when the big picture is viewed.

Take the time to concentrate on one skill at a time. Don't pay attention to the overall list of marketing tools, just concentrate on one thing. When you've mastered that skill move on the next and the next and the next.

Little by little you will begin to resemble that clever slogan from Smith Barney, "You make Money the old fashioned way - you earn it."

You will earn it through hard work, diligence, reputable marketing techniques, quality products and quality service - one bite at a time.

Internet Marketing Tips & Strategies To Help Your Business

Internet Marketing Tips & Strategies To Help Your Business

Author: James Copper

Setting up a website for your company can be a fairly easy task, but the hard part is taking the time to plan and ensure that your website is ready for online marketing. After you set up your site and before you even begin to consider an Internet marketing plan, it's important to create an environment in which your website can thrive within. Many smaller organizations often make the mistake of focusing all of their time and energy on Internet marketing but have neglected to lay the ground work involved with having a website for your business. The following are a few tips and strategies that can help you make sure your website is ready for Internet marketing.

1) Discover Your Niche Market.

It's important to have a niche market so that you can target specific customers with your information, advice, products or services. Once you've discovered your niche and targeted the customers buying into that genre, you can shape your web content and marketing strategies much easier. It's also important to remember that your target market online can be much different than your target market offline so the marketing strategies you use for customers actually coming to your business directly will probably be much different than the strategies you use on the web.

2) Keep In Touch With Consumers.

After you've developed your site with your target market in mind, you want to make sure you've done everything possible to facilitate the communication between your customers and your business. Brainstorm about the ways that consumers may want to access your company, whether it be through email, newsletters, or mailing lists. It's important to let your customers know that you're still around and there for them whenever they need your products or service.

3) Branding.

In order to build a strong customer base and create a name that consumers can trust, it's important to build a brand around your company. Rather than using a free website service, purchase a domain so that consumers know that you're a legitimate business. Just like a storefront or office, a businesses website should look incredibly professional. There should also be contact information somewhere on your website, including an address, email and phone number so that customers weary of paying for online services can be reassured that the business does in fact exist and is at least somewhat professional.

Once you've discovered your niche market, make sure you keep in touch with your regular consumers as well as prospective customers to ensure that your business is strong and will be around in the future. Create a professional image of your company in order to build trust and bring recognition to your businesses name. Remember that, just like any other business, a website represents your services so mediocre designs, content and images will not fool customers, but only turn them off to the product you provide.

A Simple Three Step Internet Marketing Plan

A Simple Three Step Internet Marketing Plan

Author: Jinger Jarrett

You can argue that internet marketing is more important than content. After all, if you don't market your site, you won't make any money.

Internet marketing is not a short-term strategy. It is also not about getting attention or clicks or visitors or inquiries. It is about building relationships. These relationships lead to sales.

Keeping up with all of the changes to internet marketing can become a fulltime job. Certain techniques, when used properly, will generate a steady flow of traffic to your website.

There are dozens of techniques you can use to market your business online. Some are free; some aren't. Below are the main three I use on a regular basis to generate traffic to my site.

1. Search Engines

Search engines are one of the most effective tools for gaining customers online. With a good search engine optimization and marketing strategy, you can drive plenty of traffic to your site.

The secret to a good search engine marketing campaign is to choose keywords that are frequently searched for but don't have a lot of competition.

The way to find good keywords to optimize your site for is to do a search. Use a tool like Good Keywords, http://www.goodkeywords.com, and search for your main topic.

If your main topic is business, then start there. You don't want to optimize for the term "business" though, because this term is too broad. Search terms with three to four keywords will get you more targeted traffic than broad terms.

Look for keywords that are searched for at least 1,000 times. Then, using tools like Web CEO, http://www.webceo.com, you can optimize your page.

You want to optimize different pages for different keywords. Although conventional optimization wisdom says to optimize a page for no more than three keyword phrases, I recommend you choose the main phrase for your main page. Optimize other pages for other keyword terms you have chosen, one per page.

2. Article Writing

Another of the most effective marketing strategies is article writing. You apply the "give before you get" principle. Give others a taste of the information you offer on your site.

Write a good headline. Include your keywords. Add five or six different points with one to two paragraphs explaining each point.

Include a beginning, a conclusion, and a resource box, and you have an article.

Remember, your resource box is your selling point. Don't distract others with a bunch of affiliate links in your articles. Save your links for your resource box and only use one or two.

If you're really serious about getting your article published, you'll serve your audience, not yourself.

Writing quality content is the core of successful internet marketing. Even if you think you can't write, if you are passionate enough about your topic, and you have an audience of readers who are interested in what you have to say, you can create content.

3. Linking

Linking with RELEVANT websites is by far the easiest way to market your site. The problem is that most webmasters do it wrong, and they get poor results.

Make the sites you exchange links with relevant to your site. Remember, linking to another site is like an endorsement of your site. Links to unrelated sites are a waste of time.

Use your most important keywords as part of your anchor text. This will help improve your rankings in the search engines.

Internet marketing is more than just getting visitors to your web site or promoting your website. Internet marketing is about making yourself different. By providing valuable information to your visitors, you'll give them a reason to buy from you.

Advertising Formats for Internet Marketing

Advertising Formats for Internet Marketing

Author: Christian Fea

Copyright (c) 2008 Christian Fea

The format of an advertisement refers to its type and the position it occupies on a page. Web based advertising formats are most similar to the types used in traditional print media advertising because of the visual medium of both. There are a variety of advertising formats to consider when you are looking to strategically market your business.

Banner Ads

The granddaddy of internet marketing advertisements is the banner ad, a clickable rectangular image, displayed across the top of a web page. The placement of an ad at the head of the page is a strategic choice. Westerners are taught to read top to bottom, left to right, so whatever information appears at the top of the page is in a targeted real estate area for grabbing attention.

Banner ads were one of the original internet advertising tools, have enjoyed a great deal of success, and are reliable and proven way to attract customers to your business and services, and your website. Banner ads however are not foolproof or one hundred percent successful. Banner ads have become so prevalent that web users have started to get desensitized to the images, sometimes ignoring the images altogether. This phenomenon was first described by researchers at Rice University as banner blindness, and it is this issue that eventually gave rise to other forms of internet advertising.

The next phase

The market saturation with banner ads prompted a new crop of internet ads to be born. Tower ads, inline ads, sliding ads, pop-up ads, and video based ads are all popular forms of web advertising you see on just about every web page now, and are types of ads that morphed out of the success of the original banner ad.

Most of these advertising types are a variation on the format of the banner ad, changing the placement, orientation and style of the ad to gain more of an edge for visually capturing one's attention. A tower ad is a vertical rectangle banner placed either to the left of right of the web page content. An inline as is a smaller, more narrow banner ad that is inserted into the middle of web page content.

Aggressive advertising

There are a couple of banner inspired internet advertising formats that are more aggressive ways to grab a viewers attention and tend to be more controversial, spurring loyal fans and staunch opponents. The sliding ad and pop-up ad are two of these more aggressive marketing tools.

A sliding ad is an advertisement that literally moves around the web page, often until it is accessed by clicking. These ads are some of the most infuriating for internet users because they force you to stop what you are doing to acknowledge the ad and make it go away, and one of the most successful ads for strategic marketing for the same reason: the advertisement demands the viewers attention.

A pop-up ad is the most infamous of these aggressive methods, literally popping up into a new browser window when you click on a web link. These ads are another type that cannot be ignored - you must acknowledge the ad to dismiss it, thus the advertisers have achieved their goal by capturing your attention.

Most companies use more than one of these types of ads to make for a collaborative marketing platform. All of these advertisements can be used in affiliate marketing systems and using a combination of these methods is an intelligent way to strategically market your businesses products and services.

The First Commandment of Internet Marketing

The First Commandment of Internet Marketing

Author: islam

Autoresponders are one of my favorites tools. I used to do business in the traditional word (I owned a pizzeria), and the process of delivery, was after the preparation itself, the core of the business.

But that was to much work to handle for a single man, so I had a team ready to deliver at anytime.

Why I love so much auto responders?

Your business is on autopilot. Once everything is setup properly, you can forget it, and focus on a second business. It is called: Set and Forget technology. I learned from one of my teachers in Internet Marketing that you definitively need an autoresponder if you want to success in Internet business.

You don't know what is an auto responder? Aren't you tired of taking the time to manually follow up with every single one of your potential customers? Keeping track of names, e-mail addresses, and what marketing information you've sent to which lead is exhausting, isn't it?

Here it is: The Auto responder does all of that "cyber-paperwork" for you. You simply set the system up, and it runs completely independently: Your leads ask you for information through a form on your web site or an email response to your ad, and your auto responder at any time of day or night, and the send this information to them immediately.

You can even set the system up to address each of your leads by name. Also, date variables mean you can offer each new lead a time sensitive offer. It has been proven that a prospect must see your marketing message at least 7 times before deciding to buy from you.

But, contacting every single one of your leads manually at least 7 times, gets very complicated. The process will soon take hours - even days! So you understand now what is your benefit with that utility?

* You put your business on autopilot, and increase your sales by 400%!

* You spend more time with your family.

* You save time, reduce stress, build customer loyalty, increase conversion ratios, and make more money.

* and much more...

You will find different autoresponder programs on the web: some are free, but you are able to upgrade to a paid member later. For instance, you will find:

Free Autoresponder services that offers unlimited Autoresponders, no maximum mail lengths, but they ad a small ad at the top of your message, all that can be removed if you upgrade, with amazing features.

Also: Paid Autoresponder with templates for your newsletter, training video...you can try it for free the first month in some cases. If for any reason you are not satisfied you will get a refund.

And you will also find some autoresponders which work as ad exchanges for their subscribers these are free Autoresponder with an interesting twist, as it works like an exchange service: At the top of your message, there is a little advertisement, and in turn, your advertisement will appear at the top of messages send out by the other subscribers.

Internet Marketing: on a Fast Track

Internet Marketing: on a Fast Track

Author: samira1111

While marketing has unlimited means of reaching its target audience, Internet marketing has grown to be the most popular marketing medium . Companies are aggressively using search engine optimization and other techniques to reach remote consumers. Businesses use constant emails and video advertisements on websites to woo customers. popular Internet marketing is emerging as the favorite marketing strategy of both small and large enterprises.

Online Shopping this Holiday Season

According to eCommerce research firm comScore, shopping by online customers grew significantly this holiday season. Spending grew to $28 billion, up 19% compared to last year. On December 26 (the day after Christmas), sales touched $545 million, a record 50% jump compared to the same day last year. December 10 was recorded as the heaviest individual spending day of the season. Online retail giant Amazon.com announced its "best holiday season ever."

However, with the sub-prime crisis hitting the U.S. markets and with talks of a jittery U.S. economy, it is not surprising that the growth in online shopping was not as robust as the 2006 holiday season.

Advertising on the Internet

A study by AT&T conducted by Western Wats revealed that approximately 65% of small enterprises advertise in the yellow pages directory. However, about 53.1% of the small business respondents said that in the next two years they expect to advertise through online videos. AT&T noted that although many consumers are still using the yellow pages for business information, they search on the Internet before actually buying a product.

With the Beijing Summer Olympics approaching, spending on advertisements in every sector is expected to accelerate. Multinational corporations are sure to make further inroads into China's fuming economy.

Studies reveal that in the coming years, more companies will resort to advertising with Internet videos. People now have less time to read through text-dominant advertisements; plus, videos have proved to be more appealing.

Though the U.S. economy is said to hit a recession track, online ad spending is expected to be resilient.

Marketing through Social Networking Websites

Sending bulk emails is a marketing stunt used to date. Many companies are now switching to social networking websites to market their products. MySpace and Facebook are expected to be major players in the online social networking space. These sites in the future would be top destinations for online shoppers.

Online Customers Rank High with Retailers

The Customer Respect Group's "Customer Respect Index," has ranked retailers high in respect to handling their online customers. The study evaluated retail websites on three parameters — usability of sites, communication in respect to emails and online chats, and trustworthiness. In all three situations, retail websites such as Ralph Lauren, Gap, and Old Navy outperformed the industry average. v 2008 is predicted to be a good year for Internet marketing. Companies are gearing up not to miss a piece of the cake.

A Cost Effective Global Internet Marketing Strategy

A Cost Effective Global Internet Marketing Strategy

Author: Carrie Bliss

Internet marketing has had a huge impact on marketing. Online marketing is cost effective and reaches a global market. It has a flavor of its own and has created an entirely new marketing environment.

A local business that once had only the people next door as customers can find a broad market online without paying an arm and a leg to get national or even international audiences. This also frees a business from the possibility of being stifled by problems with the local economy.

Not only can you access a global market, but you can achieve an immediate connection with your clients, evoking immediate responses. Customers can access information from a company at any time of the day or night from their own home and can interact without delay. You can actually interact more effectively with your customers with less sales staffing.

The only down side to reaching customers through the internet is the exclusion of potential customers who do not use computers. It can also be difficult to use this type of marketing for products that people want to see before purchasing. For example, some people may not want to buy shoes without trying them on for comfort and fit. However, this may be overcome with a generous return policy.

The fact that internet marketing generally costs less than traditional marketing has prompted many businesses to get involved. Unfortunately, as more companies put money into their online marketing campaigns, it is becoming more competitive and taking more time, money, and effort to launch a successful strategy for selling online.

There are benefits of tracking your progress with marketing on the internet. With traditional marketing, you often rely on feedback from your customers to help you to determine which marketing technique is drawing them in. Perhaps a dentist adds a line to his intake questionnaire asking where a patient heard about the practice.

Some retailers ask for your zip code or area codes to find out where their customers come from. With online marketing, you can track many statistics about your website and therefore analyze them and determine how to proceed with your continued marketing strategies.

Internet marketing can be tailored to fit the needs and budgets of individual businesses. If you have a small business focusing on a certain geographic location, you may consider using a 'pay per click' ad that is limited to a specified area. If you have a larger budget, you may consider a banner ad with a website that is likely to attract the kind of people who would also be interested in your website.

Search engine optimization (SEO) can place your website description on the first page of search results. The possibilities are endless, and you can find a way to market your business that is well suited to the needs and goals of your business.

Finding traffic, i.e. customers, use to be the most difficult thing to accomplish but this has all changed. Consider the free click formula to enter the next generation of NOT paying to get visitors to your site.

Traditional marketing is feeling the impact from internet marketing. As more people become comfortable shopping and buying online, and turning to the web for information, internet marketing is gaining momentum. Its flexibility and instantaneous feedback gives it a unique position in the local, national, and global market.

Network Marketing Plus Internet Marketing Equals Leveraged Marketing

Network Marketing Plus Internet Marketing Equals Leveraged Marketing

Author: Thomas Hernandez

Network Marketing has always been perceived as a 'Word of Mouth Advertising' type industry. A person signs up with a company and spreads the word about the product, business opportunity, or service they represent, and anyone that signs up along the way will do the same. This is the basic structure of a traditional network marketing company.

Now, let me ask you a question:

If you could get your message in front of massive amounts of people without ever having to physically talk to them, and have this message attract your target audience to your offers, would it be worth learning about?

Of course it would!

When you take network marketing and internet marketing and put the two together, you create a highly targeted, highly leveraged marketing machine.

So how does it work?

Basically, the internet allows you to create your own marketing system that will spread your unique message to your target audience 24/7, 365 days a year. Your message will reach hundreds of thousands more people then the ones you and your downline physically talk to. This is an extremely leveraged and effective way to market.

Now I'm not talking about trying to get people to go to your replicated website that every other representative in your company has. What I'm talking about is way more effective.

By using 21st century technology in your business you won't need to hype up your opportunity with a fancy business presentation in front of people who may or may not care what you have to say.

Your goal is to educate yourself on marketing and focus your efforts on composing a system that speaks to your prospects on a personal level (and not a hype-oriented way), so that your offers become more attractive. This type of system will produce much more predictable results.

Since the internet is always running and never takes a day off, your marketing system will be working for you while you are sleeping, playing golf, chasing the kids, etc.

This gives your prospects the freedom to explore and access your information whenever they chose. This style of marketing makes you look like less of a salesmen, and the only type of physical interaction you will need to have is with those who are express interest first.

To be successful building a network marketing business in the traditional way, your skill set performing presentations and recruiting techniques comes into play; plus, time becomes a serious issue. How many people can the average person talk to in one day when that person may have another job or kids to take care of? And out of the people you do talk to, how many are really interested in what you have to offer?

There is one of two ways you are going to be perceived by the public:

Either you are going to be viewed as one of those annoying people involved in a 'pyramid scheme' trying to figure out ways to approach and recruit a family member or a total stranger.

Or, you are going to be viewed as a professional. Someone who has his or her own marketing system set up that knows how to get his or her message out in an effective manner without relying on unnecessary hype and uncomfortable sales pitches.

Getting results is the main objective in any business; however, not all business models are as effective as the next. Implementing this model has been proven to get predictable results on a consistent basis.

On a final note I will speak on experience; this industry is way more enjoyable after obtaining and implementing the proper education on marketing.

Build An Internet Marketing Niche

Author: Mario Churchill

First things first, do not believe claims that tout that they could bring as much as fifty or so million customers to your website. This is hype that is way too exaggerated.

The fact of the matter is that an average web site that engages in a business to business venture would probably receive about a thousand visitors in a week during the beginning of their launch.

The important thing is to get the visitors that is appropriate for your site as well as the service and product that you are selling.

Business that are just starting out would do well to master the science of niche internet marketing.

The following are tips and advice to be able to achieve effective niche internet marketing.

Customers must be profiled

It is extremely vital to profile the potential customers of your business. It would be best to spend at least one hour or the most two hours with someone you trust could give you an honest view of the characteristics they personally possess.

Know where they meet online

After which, determining where such type of people regularly meet and congregate online is a good way to establish links and possible connections. Checking mailing lists or news groups is one.

Potential customers could be found in such niche discussion groups.

Those who subscribe in mailing lists have to access their e-mail regularly. Mailing list subscribers usually are involved in discussions that are a lot more serious.

Meanwhile, newsgroups are also discussion groups where comments are available for anyone to read and which you could also add your own.

Though there may be a lot of irrelevant items here, try not to discriminate anyone. Customers are still customers, no matter how highly non-intelligent or intelligent he is.

Believe it or not, such groups are targeted a lot for particular topics. Also, there are as much as a thousand readers in such groups.

Discussion groups exist for a lot of other topics such as dolls, racing, marketing, cycling, etc.

In case you do not find one that is particular niche, you could very well create your own!

Communicate, communicate, communicate

If in case you have war books to sell online, it would be a good idea therefore to look for a discussion group that caters to books, and from there find a way to engage yourself in.

Coming on too strong such as sending out an advertisement touting to BUY THE BOOK IM SELLING will most probably be met by flames from the other online discussion group members.

It is always best to take your time and wait for the perfect moment. A discussion that turns to war could then bring you to discuss your books. Include in your note a small ad as well as your own web site.

Discreteness is the key.

Practice netiquette

Use words cautiously and carefully. The saying, if you build it they will come works well for all ventures, be it online or offline.

Like attracts like, and the appropriate people will similarly be attracted to what you are selling if it is not an in-your-face manner that is exaggerated and loud.

Subtlety always works best.

All in all, internet niche marketing works. The key is to find the niche customers and offer them something they possibly could not refuse.
